I recently decided to try my hand at candid street photography on the downtown streets of San Antonio, Texas.  Despite having shot nearly 500 photos I feel like these two are the most interesting of the bunch.

There's something unique about a bustling, tourist-city at night.  The feeling is always very 'alive' with all of the neon lights, bars and distant live music.  With everyone avoiding downtown San Antonio during the Covid19 pandemic, the typical #goodvibes feel is pretty overshadowed with all of the dirt, trash and hard surfaces.  It's a dreadful-ass place if I'm being honest.

Soooo....I went ahead and embraced that feeling in my color grading.  Everything feels abandoned and gritty so the pictures should reflect that.   This was an interesting photo shoot as I've never even dabbled in street photography before.  I may very well give it another go despite the fact that it makes me feel like a voyeur.
